I am a dynamic and multifaceted artist, passionate about expanding the moral imagination through beauty and creative storytelling.
As an Alabama born and raised, gender nonconforming artist, my work, mind, body and presentation are shaped by southern culture and the experience of growing up without language for my identity in the Bible Belt, which I still call home.
With a background as a social worker in a rural hospice agency, I learned the power in telling one’s story. I expanded those interpersonal and technical skills into a career in creative project management and aesthetic consultancy for nonprofits and corporations while working as a junior designer for a small design firm based bicoastally in San Francisco and New York.
Pausing my career and pursuing a degree in Theology and The Arts at Union Theological Seminary of Columbia University has allowed me to hone a vision for my own work with the singular focus of telling, celebrating, and remembering queer stories.
